For our Berlin headquarters, we are currently looking for a
Hotel Accommodation Management (f/m/d)
The Hotel Accommodation Team purchases/procures, manages and sells hotel room blocks/allotments for our congresses, conferences and events taking place worldwide. Depending on the destination, there are different framework conditions, focal points and challenges. In this position, you are responsible for these hotel room blocks and act as a link between hotels, participants and other K.I.T. Group divisions.
Tasks
- Taking care of our national and international registration projects, including preparation, follow-up, and on-site management, which involves international travel
- First point of contact for our speakers and participants
- Travel management (e.g., flight bookings)
- Registration and management of individual participants and groups
- Communication with congress participants (email, phone, face-to-face)
- Manage incoming payments and issue invoices, as well as reminder management for unpaid registrations
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies and/or professional training (e.g., tourism/event management) or relevant professional experience
- 2+ year experience in conference/event/travel industry or hotel industry
- Procurement / Negotiation skills
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as strong communication skills
- Very structured way of working with attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Very good knowledge of German and English (C1 level) for the support of our national and international clients.
